Any Amplifier
Our amplifier testing station is built around Audio Precision™, Audiomatica CLIO12QC™, and Picoscope™ analyzers. These are used to make voltage measurements across a massive resistive dummy load. We can test down to 1 ohm with no practical power limit.
Analyzing the Results
A Hioki 3334 power line analyzer is used to monitor the power draw from a 120/240 VAC 30 amp regulated utility power circuit. Automotive amplifiers are testied using a 14.4 VDC regulated supply. We provide certification testing for the CTA-2006-D mobile amplifier standard.
We can test to any industry standard, and have produced a data file viewer for presentation of the compiled results. You can learn more about the Common Amplifier Format here.
